Stickney Township Office on Aging is designated as the Adult Protective Services Agency for residents of Stickney Township. Abuse is defined as an act by a caregiver or any other person that causes harm or a serious risk of harm to a vulnerable adult with a disability (18-59 years of age) or who is age 60 and over. Illinois Law defines abuse as physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, confinement, passive neglect, willful deprivation and/or financial exploitation. All reports of abuse are strictly confidential and can be anonymous if requested.
