General Information

Stickney Township Office on Aging was created in 1975 through concern by the Stickney Township Administration for the older adult residents. The office provides services to older adults and their families in order to help the older person remain independent and in the community for as long as possible. While many STOA services have no charge, some programs are based on income and assets and other factors required by federal and state funding sources.

Mission Statement:
Stickney Township Office on Aging endeavors to foster the most appropriate level of care and independence for older adults by providing services, advocacy and assistance that promotes dignity and quality of life.

The Stickney Township Office on Aging (STOA) is a division of township government and is funded by the following sources: local contributions, Illinois Department on Aging, and AgeOptions.
