Information From the Stickney Township Clerk's Office

If you are an American citizen who has lived in the Township for at least 30 days and will be at least 18 years of age by election time, you can register to vote in the Clerk's office (Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4 pm). You should also consider registering if you have moved or changed your name since you last voted.

You will need 2 forms of identification including a government issued Driver's License or State ID. You can also register to vote at the Bridgeview Courthouse and any municipal office or State of Illinois driving facility. It is also possible to register online at www.elections.il.gov. If you prefer to register online, you will need your Illinois Driver's License or State ID number, ID issue date, last 4 digits of your social security number and your birthdate.

Registering to vote cannot be easier. So register and exercise your right to vote for the candidate of your choice. Please make note that once you have registered you will be able to vote in future elections without re-registering, unless of course you move or change your name.

Stickney Township has been a passport acceptance facility for over 10 years.
We accept passport applications from all United States and Puerto Rican citizens. There is no age or residency limit or requirement. To apply for a passport you must bring in your government issued ID, long-form birth certificate or citizenship papers and your checkbook or money order. For a nominal fee we can take your passport photo at the Township facility. All applicants must appear before the agent. Normal processing takes 4 to 6 weeks. Expedited processing is available for an additional fee and takes 2 to 3 weeks. Fees vary and may change at any time. Call Monica at the Clerk's office at 708-237-8966 for more information. An appointment is highly recommended.

Stickney Township is a distributor of the Cook County Wheel Tax stickers for Unincorporated Cook County, providing residents and businesses a convenient location for purchase. Application forms are available onsite. Fees to the Cook County Collector vary by vehicle. You must purchase a sticker within 30 days of a vehicle purchase or 60 days after moving into the unincorporated area. Stickers are currently valid until July 15th, 2015. Please be aware that the fees are NOT determined by the Township but by the Cook County Board. The Township receives no funds for this service to residents.
